Forrest L. Wood and The Ranger
Group at El Salto

Every bass angler in the world owes a debt of gratitude to Forrest L. Wood. He's the man who started the revolution in fishing boats that resulted in today's Ranger boats, the best known brand on the water. He's made Flippin, Arkansas world famous too. Forrest has been a fisherman all his life. He fished the BASS tournament trail in its early days and qualified for the Bassmasters Classic a number of times. So when he incorporated new features in his boats, it was from first hand experience out on the water.

He brought a group from Ranger Boats to El Salto to fish with Fred Ward's Pro Bass Adventures. They fished out of Ranger boats, of course, but so does every other visitor to Ward's national known operation.

The professionalism and quality of the operation at El Salto is unsurpassed.
The accommodations, food and service were impeccable and beyond all our expectations. Our trip was highlighted by the siesta accommodations at the lake. All this should come as no surprise to me because of my long acquaintance with you, but I do want to compliment you on a very well run operation that provided a trip of a lifetime to me and our group from Ranger Boats. I certainly hope to be
able to repeat the trip.
